I need new weatherstripping around my doors and windows....getting lots of wind noise and water leaks in hard rain.

JC Whitney is offering this kit (http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/CatalogOrderSearch?sku=AJP506981U&storeId=10101&catalogId=10614) which has two door seals, two window channel seals, and four belt-line moldings (the pieces at the bottom where the window and door meet) for $134.95. I also have a 10% coupon I can use on top of that.

Is this a good deal? Is this good quality material? Or can I do better?

Thanks!

Casey

Hey Casey,

I put new weatherstripping around the door openings when I had it painted red (used to be black and silver) in 1996. I believe I bought the stuff from JCW. What I got is very good quality - nine years later I still have to crack a window to completely shut the doors without a BIG EFFORT.

I also used LMC truck to replace all of the front door rubber. Very good fit and didn't cost a fortune.
