I need to source the clutch and brake pedal assembly for my conversion project. Which models (Suburban, Blazer etc.) and years will fit my 1985 K30?
I used the bracket and pedal assembly from an 87 K20 when I swapped my SM465 in (also from that 87 K20.) It was a gasser so I had to do some mods in order to make it compatible with the hydroboost, IIRC there were 4 studs on the pedal bracket and I had to remove 2 of them so the studs on the hydroboost could go through the firewall.

Not positive, but I`m thinking anything from`81-`87(`91:sub/blazer/3+3),with that second dash design.

Didn`t all 1tons use hydro-boost brakes? There are probably more manual 1tons than anything else out there.

GM 'shifted' from manual/linkage clutches to hydraulic some time in 1984 on trucks. Anything pre-`84 is a linkage setup; anything post-`84 is a hydraulic setup. Anything 1984 is a crapshoot depending if it was built early or late.
I highly recommend the hydraulic. The transmission bell housings are totally different between the two styles but the linkage bell housing can possibly be adapted. I bought a new bell housing (hydraulic) for my SM465 through SPO for a bit over $100.
Some parts, such as master and slave cylinders, can be had through aftermarket parts houses - I think I bought mine at AutoZone. Other parts, like master cylinder reservoir, hydraulic line, pedal bushings, etc I bought through the stealership.

On my 84 K10 The clutch pedal and brake pedal swing from the same long bolt through a one piece channel. On the 85-87 the clutch and brake pedals swing on seperate narrower channels. The 86 clutch pedal for hydraulic clutch when used in the 84 will not line up properly to the hydroboost master cylinder. There is also two rod braces that go on the clutch bolt that the pedal swings on and connects to the lower two studs on the master cylinder that come through the firewall that have to be there to support the pressure your foot is going to put on the pedal.

On your 85 you will have to go with the hydraulic setup off a 85-87. My 84 was mechanical clutch and built about last week of production but had punch marks in firewall where clutch master cylinder was to be. I have the master cylinder reservoir and brand new master cylinder here and also the 85 pedal although I bent it somewhat as when I put it in my 84 the brake and clutch pedals were about a half inch apart. On my previous post I want to clarify that the 85 pedal used on the 84 will not align to the master cylinder.
