In getting ready to pull the IP for a rebuit one I noticed that the number on my pump doesn't seem to match up with anybody's tables. Including the one in the reference section. I'm not the original owner so I have no idea on the pedigree of the parts. It is a DB2829-4701. I have figured out the 829 means it's the 29mm size which is probably correct for this engine. Also the injectors have a 0430 211058 number and everybody seems to be using a two digit identifier. These should be the short fine thread I believe. It's a 1988 V1500 Jimmy, "C" code engine.

I'm no expert but I thought the last four number was the maximum engine RPM the pump was calibrated for.

Thanks, I had heard that but still haven't seen it in writing anywhere. Seems odd that those number would vary so much. Apparently these are also the long injectors. 88 was a crossover year and the Blazer/Jimmy's had either depending on build date.

My records show that fits 88-89 LD R/V ( Auto. Trans ) with the 84 mm length injector .
