Hello America,
There is a discussion arising in Switzerland about Diesel exhaust pollution and especially Micro-Particles. Question: Does anybody know of aftermarket Particlefilter applications for the GM 6,2L Diesel with Banks Turbo? In Europe, there is nothing available and tax-penaltys are in planning.

I'm not aware of anything aftermarket, but sure is something to look into.

Late 2006/2007 Model light duty diesel engines here in the states are supposed to be equipped with exhaust scrubber equipment that will remove some of the particulate. The key here is that the you have to use Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (USLD) fuel for the devices to work. I'm not exactly sure what other engine components are required, or what monitoring equipment goes with it. I'm pretty sure you guys are already using ULSD though.

Perhaps you could wait until the equipment is deployed on newer diesel engines and take that technology and adapt to the 6.2 from a wrecked truck.
