I am installing a 6.2 NA and 4L80E trans into a 1983 Jeep Wagon. The engine/trans combination is similar to the civilian version of a HUMMVEE. I have the Pot type TPS and am looking for details (and a source) of the PCM for that rig. Some guidance here would be appreciated.****script:void(0)

I have a friend who has a couple of PCM's from 1995 chevy cube vans that had a 4L80E.Those computers were under the driver side seat area.I can check to see how much he would want for it and its wiring harness. If you are still interested, come back with a reply.

You'll also need an engine speed sensor. I'd recommend GM's stock unit made to work with the 4L80-E. New/used units can be obtained from www.peninsularengine.com (http://www.peninsularengine.com)
I'd also use the factory TPS that bolts onto the side of the fuel injection pump. Peninsular can help with that as well.

I got my 4L80E with the computer, its supposed to be a stand alone unit, so no engine control.
I am going to use a PCS programmable unit wich can be programmed to run a different RPM signal.
If you want, I have the stock computer on the shelf.

Hi Guys. Thanks for the replies.
Peter, I would be really interested in the standalone stock computer for the 4L80E. Can you tell me what the GM product code is (16------) for that, and possibly the BCC on top of the Chip. (eg AYXX). Did it come from a petrol or diesel engine?

I have to dig up the computer but will do so in the weekend.
The trans and computer are from a 92'Diesel van.
