I have been out of town for the last 2 weeks so kind of slow. Have the electronics ready to solder up tonight. I still have to source a Tach. I was hopeing to get to a wrecker this coming week to find one that will fit in the dash.
I bought and installed the bumper to bumper vacpump with the ESS on it. Defrost and cruise control both work now.

I think I am going to have to get a new vacum pump w/ESS also. The cruise didn't work in the donar Jimmy prior to pulling it.

I might have to tap your experience when setting mine up. I have an 89' cluster w/trip odometer and 73' tach with an overlay so the color is all orange in mine right now but want to get C65 cluster with a Tach/Fuel guage combo. If you wan't I'd sell mine to ya.

Snowman.
I noticed that your link is to one with out a tach. but with the nice white background.
What you have is about what I am looking for. My volt meter is NFG.
My lower left hand corner hole has a clock what is yours?
What would you want for it?

I see now that your Tach runs to 7000. I did not get that the first time. Still its better than nothing.

If it's only your volts guage that screwed they are easy to change, could even be done without removing the cluster from the truck, I have extra's if you want one ... but then you still won't have a tach.

My cluster has the fuel guage in the lower left corner.

How much ... I found 3 wreckers around town and they all quoted me $250 ... theives. The one from a C65 dump truck with tach/fuel is going to cost me $300. I was thinking $100 with a normal speedo. The inside of the cluser is painted silver to incease illumination and it really lights up now. If you want to pay the $250+GST call Kendale, maybe you can get a better deal

The 7000RPM tach is an overlay ... there is a 5000RPM in the back that's the older blue color ring ... those white overlays would be very trick though and they are 5000RPM!!!

That company does sell a tach overlay and KM/H overlays also, I have a few other links if your interested.

I'm sure you will think of this before you spend but make sure that your vacuum pump is why for your cruise not working. They tell me there are a lot of reasons cruse-control can go NFG.
Like I said Bumper to Bumper had three in stock when I got mine.

I will know right away once I get the current vac pump hooked up properly ... I have A/C now so my heater controls will tell me.

642012ame as the napa part.
I only got home for two days so I do notknow when I can get back to it.
If you search the fourm under the name that Dr. Lee gives as having helped him you will find a step by step on how to do the electronics. Sorry I can't be of more help right now. I'll be back in about a week.
