Manual glow plug switch

I know it has been detailed before. Can anyone refer me to the details for installing manual glow plug switch. Want to install one this weekend on wife's 82 Suburban. Controller is not working so switch is the best option.

I would like to see the equivalent wiring diagram for a glow plug controller manual/bypass switch for our 6.2L NA 86 Chevy Sub (or descriptive instructions for same would suffice). Thank you in advance.

I don't know what others have done, but what i did is get a starter switch from autozone (one of those push button type) And hooked it to the relay on the drivers side fender behind the battery. I put the switch on the dash through on of the radio holes (I built a custom center console to hold the radio) This setup works great. No problems at all, just make sure you have the good glow plugs, if its really cold hit the button and count to 10 or so and crank it up. If its warm and you've not had it turned off for long just crank.
