wiper delay

The wiper delay function on old blue took a crap, Local salvage yards are no help.
haven't been to a dealer as yet, afraid of the cost.
Anybody got anything laying around for a 84 with delay on t/sig switch?

Salvage yards won't sell you this item, because they want to sell the entire column.

Sounds like you might need the whole multifunction switch.

Check with your local discount auto parts stores, I think they have a source for them.

Otherwise, LMC or ChevyDuty, might be good options for the part.

You might also want to check your delay module. I think it's up under the dash somewhere. My wiper motor took a dump. After replacing it, I only have two speeds...low and high. Thet wipe at low speed on any delay setting. It didn't make sense that all the delay detents would fail at once, so I did a little poking around and found out about the delay module. I think LMC Truck in KC sells them for about $50. I'll post as soon as I replace mine...good luck.
