Is the coolant temp inhibit switch located at the back of the head on the passenger side on an 85?? I know it is probably a stupid question to most, but I was told to look for a switch with 2 yellow or 2 green wires, the connector I had a green and red wire...
I suppose I could tear apart the harness, but thought I would ask first.

The coolant sensor on the passenger head next to the vacuum pump is the glow plug inhibit switch, the sensor down by the exhaust manifold is for the fast idle solenoid and the injector pump cold advance.
The glow plug inhibit switch is at the top rear of the passenger side head, the HPCA/fast idle temp switch is at the rear side of the passenger side head, right behind above the exhaust manifold.

What size are those nuts on the solenoid?
They should be either 12 or 13mm, I think the studs are 8mmx1.25.

I meant the little ones...
Which solenoid? Fast idle solenoid? The mounting screws are 7mm if my week-old memory serves correctly.

The glow plug solenoid for the ol' 82.
Most likely either 11/32" or 3/8".
