. . . horn relay on my 1984 truck? The wiring diagram in the Shop Manual suggests it is under the dash, near the cigarette lighter, but do any of you know where physically I should expect to find it in my truck?
Thanx, The Clevite Kid
Is that it in the convenience center, along with the Hazard Flasher, Warning Buzzer, and etc?
Attached to the main brake pedal bracket, directly up from accel pedal.

Nope, the manual is good about documenting the fuse block and convenience center, and the horn relay is not there.
Next?

Howdy
It is hanging free tucked into the wiring someplace. Probably close to the fuse panel. I found it by disconecting the horn and using my ears. If you have a bad relay obviuosly this wont work. It's a smaller relay in a clear plastic housing. It could probably be anywhere as it isn't connected to a panel, just wires. This was for my '84 van, I would think it would be same for a pickup. I also was able to trace the horn wire all the way back, it stayed green. Hope this helps!
