Correct range of motion on IP "throttle"

When the accelerator is fully depressed, how far should the throttle on the IP travel? When the accelerator is on the floor of my truck, the throttle assembly is only about 3/4 of its maximun travel. Is this correct? How do I check it?

The injection pump has mechanical limits within it that reference idle and WFO.

So, your pedal/linkage may need some adjustment.

However, my experience with these injection systems seems to indicate that about 75% throttle produces about all there is in power. Your experience may vary.

I'd adjust it....
