Ah, its the details that kill ya....

One of the stock oil cooler lines interfered with the turbo manifold I swapped on so I yanked it.

I had the oil cooler lines off the 6.5 turbo donor, was able to get one of them bent a bit and bolted into the block.

Problem is, once I ran it up to the front near the radiator the two ends won't bolt up. :(

They're compression style fittings with tube sticking out a bit. One is male, other is female, but both have the tube sticking out and interfere with each other. There's a sick joke in there somewhere. :D

If I just had a male/female adapter of that kind of fitting it would be a simple matter. Problem is, nobody seems to recognize the thread.

Thanks!

So the oil line interfered with the Driver's side 6.5TD exhaust manifold? I wouldn't think that it would, but you're in newer territory than me installing a 6.5TD setup on a 6.2.

Without going outside and physically looking, I would think that you could possibly use the old manifold on the Driver's side and make a new crossover pipe, it will look funky and be a little harder to get in and out. But you could use the factory 6.2 oil cooler lines...

To figure out the thread you might have some luck calling Greg at LubeSpecialists, He is a vender. I seem to remember that they're an odd thread.

Seems odd.

What veicle is it?

I have a -91 ck2500 pickup with 6,2 diesel.
The threads in my oilcooler is if I remember right UNF 3/4-18, I can check it if it would help. This is a rather strange fitting, it also uses an o-ring. This kind of fitting is common in AC applications.

Thanks!

Now that I at least know what it is I can make calls instead of driving all over Phoenix so people can look at me and say "huh, never seen one of them before.."
