You can find a block off plate for the engine, any SBC gasser pump plate will bolt right in place. There are blank plates for the gassers, just get one for a 350 and it will work on the 6.2L. You will remove the pushrod from the engine, it will not cause a drop in oil pressure. This rod is driven off a lobe on the cam and lubed from oil splash.
