Torque Converter

Hello, I currenty have a T400 in my truck.
I will be pulling the trans to replace the flex plate.
While the trans is out should I replace the torque converter? I have seen many articles which claim more power and torque.
I was wondering what type, size (10-11") or brand should I be looking at.
I know gas rigs but what special things should I look at because of the diesel application?

I use the sub for daily driving and in the summer it's used to tow our 4000 lb. trailer.

I'd just install a new flexplate, the TC probably won't have any problems. Save the $ and start hunting a good builder for a strong 700 build. But just for looking, the Diesel TC's are different from the gas ones, in that they have a low stall speed.
