I have some "positive seal" valve seals. They are like small oil seals with wire coils in them. I am wondering if they should be used on both intake and exhust valves. They go down over the part of the guide that sticks up inside the valve cover.
Can you seal the valve to good and not get any lubrication, therfore running the stems in the guids dry?
I am planing to run a turbo at some point in the future, seems to be a shortage of TE06H's
Thanks

"Positive" type valve stem seals are a perfect choice for proper oil control, They are used on most performance engines. A regular "O-ring" type seal on the exhaust side is usualy fine as the higher temperatures burn off any excess oil. With a turbo I would definitely use positive seals on both the intake and exhaust.
