does any one know where a poor man can buy a good used 6.2 or 6.5 na.

help have 2 kids and one on the way

Check out the salvage yards...I've just installed one in my 82 C20...Gave 4 bills for it...put it on an engine stand and checked out the bottom end and pulled the heads and put the good 6.5 head gaskets on it...then the usual hoses and stuff...got about 800-850 in it now...make sure you have an engine stand that will hold it up...borrowed one with 1250lbs capacity...motor is damned heavy...LOL

man if you were closer i have 2 right now one is still in the 83 suburban,which i'm parting out if anybody needs parts,has 3rd seat,bucketseats and console(red), panel doors neutral tint windows.700r4 trans.and i have an 84 engine out of the truck
