What do you need? A new dash pad, gauges, or what?

I know there are places that make new dash pads. Try Year One.

Go to www.LMCTRUCK.com (http://www.LMCTRUCK.com) and request a catalog, You will need the catalog to look up the part numbers because they don't list them on the website.

Keith, the dash pads are readily avaliable from a number of manufacturers around including the dealer. I believe LMC is the next most expensive as compared to the dealer. Make sure you get the non-urethane replacement. The urethane ones are a joke: they look warped and do not fit very well. I sent mine back because I couldn't stand the look.

Kieth maybe you better sit down,
Yes LMC lists a dash pad and it is 199.95 available in black.

Here's a site, but I think their dashes are polyurethane. I ordered mine from JC Whitney,$239. It came from Dashes Direct, and I am having trouble installing it. It is polyurethane. It looks nice tho. Just doesn't want to fit on the left side.

When I said "the look" I meant the way it fit. There were spots all over where the spacing was off two or more inches. I'd stay far away from the urethane.

Thanks for the help and advice. The guy I bought the truck off of kept on telling me the dashes were a mere $30 and only took minutes to install.I guess I should call him and ask himwhere he gets his dashes,or where hes getting that wacky tabaccy.I still havent decided which way to go because of price.

The price is reasonable but you'll have to paint it as they only come in black but there must be other colours available

I'm sure this is late, but...I have a dash cover in my '86, it came already painted to match factory color. No one knows except me (and y'all now) it's a cover...it glues on with silicone and looks great...plus it was a lot easier than actually removing and replacing the dash itself. smile.gif
