I have a 94 GMC C2500 with the 6.5td. I experience intermittent stalling and starting problems. It starts fine in any weather. But, after I drive it for a while it doesn't want to start. It will run for 5 seconds and die. I can do this forever and it will continue. I have found that if it sits for 10 minutes it will start right up. The truck stalls when you start off or at idle speed. I took it to a diesel shop and they said that there were no fault codes. Another shop told me sight unseen that I would need a new injection pump. My neighbor sells used pickups off his car lot and said they just throw a FSD in one if it doesnt run right. I have replaced fuel filters and found a loose battery connection. (which seemed to help at the time) It is getting worse and I am hesitant to start replacing all the electronics or a pump unless I am sure that is a problem.
