I have a 84 gas to diesel conversion that I am in the final stages of completion the problem is that the brake pedal will not return to top (full return) position, it has a catch in it that stops it from returning which leaves the brakes partially applied.
I can reach down and pull it back, but it has a catch in it.
if you apply brake it will return only so far back ok then catch and then you have to pull it back the rest of the way by hand.
The unit is from a 83 Blazer donor vehicle that worked just fine before removal prior to transplant.
Could I possibly have air trapped somewhere that is stopping it from having full action?
I started it and turned wheel from stop to stop w/truck elevated to remove air,is there something I missed? :(
