I have a Banks sidewinder setup.
If I'm right it is a Garret T04B turbo??
Does this turbo have a 1.0 ratio exaust housing "stock" from banks?
Is it possible to change the housing to a lower ratio to increase boost and spool up time?
Or do you have to change the turbine aswell?
Or is it better off finding another turbo?

Hi opto,
I think you are right about the to4 turbo, but not real sure about the garrett. When in the quest for more power there are some members using the 6.5 turbo and waste gate. What it does is build more boost and that = more power! I am sure other members will chime in and fill in the blanks. Hope this helps,

Back in the late 90's Gale Banks contacted me, and wanted us to try one of their 7.3L wastegated turbos on the 6.2/6.5. According to him, this would provide a significant increase in efficiency and power. The plan never came to fruition, but it was an interesting idea that holds water when you consider that they also sell the 6.2 Sidewinder system....

I works really well, I used the same turbo (TE06H) on my 6.2L with impressive results.

Brittanic, what was your pump metered at?

70mm3, I increased it from there for the winter, but had go back in the summer (no intercooler).
