will the high volume oil pump out of the 98 & newer 6.5l melling no.# m2555 or gm 12564768
fit a 6.2l ? does it come with a pick up tube?

where is the best place to get a oil pump drive

Without doing it, I wouldn't recomend installing the HO oil pump in a 6.2. But to answer the question, if you buy the oil pump from the dealer it will come with the pickup tube already installed. Thats what I got when I got the pump thats installed in my '95 6.5. For the drive, you're best calling some local diesel shops for one, or the dealer. I purchased a used one off ebay to replace a vacuum pump on my 82 shorty pickup.

I wouldn't reccomend it, either. Youre going to have a lot of extra oil to move, especially on cold start up. If you do put it on, be sure to use a late model (current production) oil pump drive. A new high volume pump with the older style drive can cause the drive to snap on cold starts.
