Diesel / Acetone mix?

Could anyone shine some light on the issue to mix 2% acetone into diesel as a cetane / performance booster or????

NOOOOOOOooooooo! :eek: Not 2%!!!! You must mean two ounces per ten gallons of fuel. That's 2 oz per 10 gal.

2% Was wrong after I did some reading I found it was much lower more to 0.2%

The craze here in South Africa picked up again so I sit and watch what's happening.

If anyone got more info please pass it on.
