Does anyone know the pump # for the 300HP marine 6.5 DB2? I Have also seen that there is a DB4 6.5 pump. Any info on that?

I don't have the Stanadyne # for the marine calibrations. The marine calibrations I'm familiar with were at one time (and may still be) proprietary to Peninsular Diesel, at least for the calibrations they use/sell. We used one of their 300-hp spec pumps and set of marine injectors in our 6.5 Project (http://www.thedieselpage.com/finale.htm).
According to Pen, a DB2 (2-roller pump) can be obtained for various power ratings up to 340-hp. The DB4 (4-roller pump) is available with 6.5 calibrations up to 400-hp.
The Diesel Depot (http://www.thedieselpage.com/vendors/avant.htm) offers reman'ed marine calibrated DB2 pumps. I don't know if these are the same calibrations as what Pen uses.

Where would go to get a DB4 with 300HP calibration?
Mike
The DB 2 2 plunger pump is a 250 HP pump out of the box that can be turned to 300HP just like the 4911 can go from 200 to 250-ish.
Unless you are going for max power, I'd suggest the 250HP marine DB2 which is generally readily available in NEW condition.
4974 is the 250 hp marine db2
To heck with all this talk about pumps...what 4.3l diesel do you have in your Jeep and Blazer?

Olds V6 diesel. Simular to the 5.7 with some major changes.

Way back in 1997, we published an article about Peninsular Diesel. In it, I discussed their marine pumps, and showed a couple of power/torque graphs for their 250-300 hp marine 6.5's. In these, the torque peak came at about 2600-2700 rpm, due to a unique timing/fueling curve in their marine pumps in combination with their non-wastegated marine turbochargers.
When using a wastegated GM factory turbo, the torque peak occurs nearer the boost pressure peak.
