Im in he prosses of puting a NV 4500 in my 87 suburban. My manual says the nuetral switch is on the stearing calum with the backup light switch. But the 87 diagram does not show a nuetral/clutch switch any where and the switch on the colum only has one conector wih two wires (bl.ltgr.) for the backup light. Where is the nuetral switch? Any Help Plese.

I don't think the NV4500 has a neutral switch. All mine has is the bacup lite on top/side of case cover.

your write, the nuetral switch for a Auto. is under the dash on the stearing colum and for the manual trans it should be on the clutch pedal. I think I found some of my problems. There seems to have been some trobles in the past and most of the fuse links have been removed and the park/nuetral switch has been bypased. I think????
