Well I'm the proud owner of the 91!. It's sweet. Except for the red firemans stripe & cabinets in the back she's jam up. I told my wife the red strip would be a great place for our business name in white letters. She's not buying into that.

As I remember my glow plugs would cycle even after the motor started on my Blazer even after the motor started. (before I contolled the glow)Then it would stop. When I went to start her up yesterday (the "new" 91)for the first time after she started the glow plug light stayed on didn't cycle. When it didn't cycle I turned her off a few times. Eventully they went off.

Q: Aren't the glow plugs supposed to continuosly cycle in a 10 second intervals (approx)even after starting?

Q: Shouldn't I make sure there are 60g's in there (or put them in) to be sure the Glow plugs don't have a fat attack & swell up regardless of the controller? ( was there also another safe # that won't swell)

You are right.the Delco 60Gs are the non-swell updates. That is what GM parts will sell you, regardless of model, unless it`s an early 6.2 w/coarse threads.Sounds like the controller,or probably the relay on ECM controlled.My`91 Sub has a relay.

Not 100% sure on this, but I thought the coarse threads were only related on injectors, not glow plugs.

Never saw different plugs listed for the early years.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Walter

When I got 60g's for the 82 Blazer I don't remember getting a choice of threads. I just remember getting a killer deal from Auto Zone for Genuine Delco-

Q: Am I right in thinking the glow plugs should be cycling on & off?

Q: Or on the 91 should the glow plug light just stay on?
(When I started it cold yesterday the "Glow plug" light stayed continuously until about 30 seconds after she was running.

I pulled to Glow plugs today just because I learned the hard way what happens if you don't use non swell 60 G's.

The autolite #113 or #1110 Look fine but meaning only maby the controller is working fine?

So I beleive a wise one will tell me to chuck em unless I just want potentential punishment Right?

Now i've been suprised at the stuff I've hocked on EBay (%100) pos feedback mindyou- Would some one with another type rig place value on these? Or should I just pitch them as if it were a book burning? :D
