Alright here is the deal before I can ship my truck to the good ole USofA it has to have a DOT sticker. Now where would I look for it? I have 3 stickers EPA by the radiator a tire size sticker on the door jamb and a sticker with all of the options and build date on the driver side fender well. Is any of those the sticker I am looking for?
Thanks for the continued support
Rick
I went through the same problem with my 77 Dodge M887 "Contact Truck" I tried to ship back from Baumholder - the clerks just wouldn't listen when I told them that the 17-digit VINs didn't come into being till 84 or so, so the fact that my VIN didn't start with 1 or 4 didn't mean the truck wasn't made in the USA. I never did get to ship it because of that pig-headed damn clerk!
Anyway, the sticker you need should be the one that has the manufacturer's name, date of manufacture, and VIN on it.
