Idle Bump

Hi,
I have started have a bump or miss at idle and also some additional smoking at starts. New fuel filters, new lift pump. Verything seems to be fine other than this bump at idle and the little extra blue smoke at start. Any ideals? Are am I being a worry wart?

What's the history of the fuel injectors and timing chain?

60,000 on the engine OH, I am not sure what the previous owner did with the injectors. He let the engine sit for 3 years before he sold it to me. It was OH'd just pryor to storage.

Let me change that, he had roughy 30,000 on the engine when he stopped driving it. I will check with him on the injectors. I know the injector pump is orginal, it was OH'd the same time as the engine.

Another ???, do you know if the exh manifolds for the 6.2L truck and van installation are the same?

Try dumping a can of ATF in the fuel tank with a full tank and running that through the beastie.
The high detergent tranny oil will clean things up right fine and may stop the low speed miss and the smoking. Sitting is tough on these critters.
