The light doesnt seem to come on right away for the first start in the morning, or after it cools all the way down. I've turned on teh igition and shut it off to see if it would come on, but it seems that I have to actually crank the engine before the light comes on, then I stop cranking and wait for the light to go off and she fires right up.

Any ideas? Suggestions??

Thanks,
Chris Chapman

It seems like maybe it's in your ignition switch?

Just a guess - maybe someones else has a better idea.....

Good Luck

I bet you might have a loose connector/wires or bad switch at the temp sensor front passenger side of motor. Jiggling the wires around there might get you out of a jam. Shorting the two wires together fixed that problem on my '88.
