Some #$%@off cut me off the other day and in order to avoid absolutely destroying his pos amg I had to lay on the horn pretty hard. Well, so hard in fact I broke the center piece to the steering wheel.

They don't know how to drive here in vegas and I need to have my horn.

Any suggestions?

Find the wires under the steeringcolumn and put in a push button?

No good. I wish I could post pictures but I have no way of hosting.

That whole middle piece, that which you press in to engage the horn fell out and broke so not only does it not work but but now looks like crap.

Thanks for replying though Peter.

Sounds like you just need the center piece. I think you can get that from a dealer. I know that you can probably find one in a salvage yard too. They used the same wheel for pickups, suburbans, blazers, from 1/2 to 1 ton, 81 till 87 for the old style steering wheel.

If the not the dealer, try LMC Truck at www.lmctruck.com. (http://www.lmctruck.com.) They have a lot parts like that for our year of truck.

Hi
Take a trip to a wrecking yard and look around,a lot of stearing wheels from different GM cars will also fit,you might find a nice padded one or one a little smaller.I'v used wheels from cavaliers on trucks.GM is always great for interchangability.
Good luck.
