injector nozzles

Does any one know for sure if injector nozzles for 6.5 and 6.2 are interchangable?
I think DN O SD 311 are the ones if they fit my housings.

Are speaking about the guts of the injector itself?

My rebuilder told me that the innards of the 6.5LTD injector are different enough to the 6.2L that they won't interchange, but YMMV. Of course, the injectors themselves can be used in either the 6.2 or the 6.5 cylinder head.

Just the nozzles, whays in there now is
08317 DN O SD 248
908 Brasil

What I want in there is

DN O SD 311

So the question is what determines the type?

One should think that DN O SD is the type and
248 or 311 the size.

Can any body confirm this?

The above seems to be correct, the DN 0 SD is the type and the 3 numbers the flow rate.
So the 311's are going in :D
