glow relay clicking

I have a 95 c2500. I was receiving the check engine light code of 35. I recieved great suggestion from members to check and clean my grounds. However, I was hoping to do this on my day off.
Today I tried to start the truck. All I got was the glow relay clicking loudly, and the dash lights flashing on and off in concert with the clicking.
HELP! Electricity is not my friend.

Sounds like you've come ungrounded somewhere. The glow plugs draw a lot of current, which is causing a voltage drop on the bad ground, which makes the glow plug relay drop out, which lets the voltage build back up, whjich allows the glowplug relay to energize, which causes a voltage drop....

Find and fix the problem before something starts smoking...

Thanks JohnC, It seems that the root of all evil on these 95ish models is poor grounding. I will let you know the out come.
