Has any one used a product called "purple ice"?
It is a super coolant made by Royal Purple.
I have heard of their oil but have never seen this before.
They claim it can lower the temp by as much as 40 degrees.
It seems it is another name for Wetter Water.

Any thoughts?
Thanks

No clue on whether the "water wetters" work or not, I guess it's up to someone to try and see what happens, some good consistant before and after tests. Bill Heath Sells a similar product on his site, might call him and get his opinion on it, after all he sells the stuff.

They do work. My friend ran it in his Motorcycle and recorded a 15 degree drop. Basically, it breaks up the surface tension in the water/coolant and gets rid of the bubbles and allows more efficient heat transfer. Redline Oil has a demo on their site, they make WaterWetter.

No experience with the Royal Purple product, but WaterWetter really does work. When I lived in phoenix, I ran it in my Ducati motorcycle and BMW M5, and both ran cooler than with the traditional coolant/water mix.

I will try it and let everyone know how it works. Thanks
