oil pressure gage

Is there any other place to hook a oil pressure gage other thatn the back of the block? I checked it out and it seems like a big PITA to get at.

i can now get at the sender, put am having trouble getting it loose, does any body know what size the hex is? I must be missing a socket because i cant seem to make any thing fit and its way to tight for a wrench. Any ideas would be a big help

I think nut on the oil sender is 7/8" but not sure. I have seen differrent size nuts on oil senders on SBC's and GM Diesels.

if it's an idiot light sender they use a special socket thats like 18 sided.

yeah thats what it looks like. Anybody know another way to skin a cat, I dont plan on putting the sender back in.

go to auto zone or o'reilly's and rent the socket ,i know last year when i was in denver i needed a p.s.pulley puller,went to auto zone and rented one and when i brought it back they gave me my deposit back,didn't cost me anything.
