I'm going to be putting in the DB2 4911 pump including the dual idler gear drive, and HO injectors and the TEO6H Turbo before long. Also I'll be pulling my radiator and having it rodded out and I already have the DSG v-belt high output water pump (putting it on at the same time) The v-belt pump is rated for 100 gpm, not quite as high as the serpentine belt pump for the 6.5

What I'm wondering is do you knowlegeable ones think I need the 6.5L dual thermostat crossover manifold or can I get by with my stock crossover and Robert Shaw Thermos.

TIA
AA

How much you gonna be towin', and how steep are the hills? If the answers are A LOT and STEEP, then look into the dual thermostat.

If you are just gonna throw a ton of stuff in the bed and bop along the road from Anchorage to Fairbanks, a single Robert Shaw 180F thermostat will do just fine.

Hi AA
I just spent the day fabing up the dual setup. I got Dieselboy to email me his tracings. After you have the dual setup in your hand you can see it will flow better. Plus what are the chances of two t stats sticking closed at the same time smile.gif It's a fun little project, will make people look twice if they are familiar with the 6.2.Let me know if i can help.
