I don't know how to make a link to it,but their is a 84 silverado shortbox with a 6.2 in Texas,on Ebay right now.
Hopefully it finds a good home with someone who apreciates the rareness of this truck. smile.gif

you want to talk rare,there is an 80 gmc stepside short box 5.7 diesel here in town and it's the same color combo that 84 is,thing still has the 5.7 in it and dual tanks.owned by and older man in his 60's,probably bought it new it's real straight but is rusted big time.

Interesting fuel primer on this truck. It looks like a marine bulb-type fuel primer used on outboard engines. Simple and inexpensive way to prime the system after filter changes.

The very same '84 shortbed was on Ebay a few months ago and sold for 5000$ even.

There was a clean 84 SB 6.2 2wd in North Carolina, saw it at trucktraderonline.com for 2600.00 in Sept. I snoozed, called and it was gone. Guy said it was cherry, original, and he needed cash. My luck.........
