Has anyone here seen or heard of a 6.2 L installed into a small gm s-10 series pickup or suv. I am thinking of putting a 6.2 into a '93 s-10 jimmy 4x4 with a 5spd. Let me know what you think....
The obvious issue is weight. You will be nose heavy. Normal pickup trucks give poor traction when there is no load in the bed. Your S-10 will have even more front/rear bias. Obviously you will have to beef up the front suspension for the additional weight. Engine mounts, transmission and rear end ratio are all factors. Would be a unique vehicle when completed. A lot of work required between now and a running 6.2L diesel S-10 !
