it turns by hand

can anyone tell me if i should be able to crank my 6.2 by hand becuase i can and it turns easy iv'e only just got the engine and i think iv'e been riped off. help i think im gona pop with anger

When you say "by hand" how are you turning it over, I can stick a socket on the harmonic balancer bolt on any of my engines and turn them over with a rachet. Also, if the glowplugs or injectors are missing from the engine, it'll be really easy to turn over.

i using the fly wheel but i can't feel hardly any compression thought it might have some sort of gizmo that does that until the starter kicks in

Sounds like its missing either the injectors or the glow plugs. The engine doesn't have compression release.
