Crank Pulley

The serpentine belt broke on the road today. I noticed that the crank pulley has some wobble and seems like i could move it slightly while the belt was off. I wrote here before about a nasty intermitant rattle. I thought it was a fuel knock. Will these crank pulleys make a knocking sound if the isolator goes bad?

Thanks Ron... If that belt hadn't broke i would have been chasing that knock forever....Someone stated that if the pulley went bad it wouldn't leave you stranded....That's a joke..lol If the belt breaks, your definitely stranded. Take it from someone who knows.
