injector pump shelf life

I have a very low mile IP that has been sitting in my shop for a few years and want to know if sitting has any adverse affects on any of the internals. Thanks Don

If the pump did run in the past, the fuel inside shoud have it protected against rust and other corrosion.
You might find a leaking seal depending on the time it was stored.
You do want to flush it before you start it up, just crank a bit longer with the injectors loose till you get fresh fuel.
