Just got my tranny rebuilt and the tranny guy said "looks like your fuse is probably blown for torque converter lockup. Solenoid was shorted"
So I put the tranny back in the van, and he is right - torque converter won't lockup.
Trouble light on the wire shows no power to the tranny wire at any time.
SO - where is the fuse for the tranny wire? I haven't been able to find it and would like the converter to lock up.
In the mean time is it ok to drive (no heavy towing) with the converter not locking?
