Difference between civilian and military inectors

What is the difference between military injectors and civilian injectors?Is there any differnce in the injection pumps?

The military pumps used hardened parts capable of holding up to jet fuel, kerosene, mixed fuels and Arctic cold - my rebuilder can rebuild with the milspec parts for an extra fee (2 years ago, I was quoted $150). There didn't seem to be anything special about the injectors though.
