Yes, I noticed. This is also online at the Off-Road Adventures website, in the archived July 2004 issue.

Frances skirted around Miami, and the only effect at my house was four coconuts blown off my front yard tree, resting harmlessly in the lawn. Anyone know an EASY way to get the thick fibrous husk off of the hard shell? Propane torch, or other creative method? I am tired of the machete and muscle power route, and they are just to hard to control on the table saw :eek: . I have gotten pretty adept at breaking the inner shell into pieces with one blow from the 24 oz. ball-pien hammer.
