Cleaning Intake Manifold

I removed the plastic intake cover and would love to clean the mainfold so it looks a little better. Anyone have any suggestions?

You can remove the top intake and sand blast it. There is also a really strong aluminum cleaner. I can find it off hand, but if you want send me your email and if I find it I ll send you the name of it. But anyway , you spray it on and let it sit for a minute and then hose it off. We used to use it on aluminum wheels and it would make the worst wheels , look like new.

A good cleaner,try CLR. Use for lime build up but it really cleans Alum. and other metals.

Simple Green

Spray it with over cleaner and put it in a plastic garbage bag. Everything will come off and then rinse with water.
