Is this the correct part number for the CDR valve for my 85 6.2L?

Your CDV should be the CV870 with the port that leads to the oil fill tube, and splits to the ait intake.

Ok thought I would dredge up an old post because I'm having a little trouble.
The Britannic Special has a CDR with CV871 on it.
My old engine had a CDR with CV870 on it
Which is correct for a Banks setup?
The quicker you guys could get back the better. :D Thanks

If they're shaped the same, I doubt it matters which one. I ran the CV870 with a turbo for quite some time before switching to the late style right valve cover and using the turbo CDR.

It doesn't matter, if the CDR is in working condition, either style will suffice..
