A year or two ago a member posted a link - address for a software program that could determine internal combustion engine rpm by using a microphone and a laptop or pc. Does anybody have that link - www address? I think the software author was an aircraft engineer or hobbyist.

I don't recall and can't find the link either. I do, however, have the program archived on my computer. There are no copywrite restrictions indicated with the program, so I'm sure I can distribute it. I also have the contact info associated with the software if you need it. The program is 186 KB.

Guys, I posted the web address to the post in the members area but guess what?, I thought I would try and bring it up and the web site is NFG
