I was wondering if the 6.2's in the grumman commerical cargo vans any different than my 88 3/4 burban J motor?

I've posted engine compartment pictures over at Yahoo Groups. I've created a group called "stepvan" and the pictures are available there. The only drawback is that they'll make you register to view them.

The only difference I've been shown so far is the lack of EGR. My van is VIN J also.

A complete used van (fender bender) was just sold on eBay for $565.36 in Richmond, VA.

The Allison 4-speed, in two flavors, was offered in that series

One, a T-400 with granny low and no Park, is the flavor I have been looking for for my rig.

Second, a real Allison 500 series, is larger and heavier, similar to the DuraMax version in dimension.
