He knew I fancied the POLICE INTERCEPTOR badge on his patrol cruiser, and suggested having a diesel version made up. I'm having the letters and border done in chrome vinyl and the background will be the base color of the truck. It'll be about 8" long and 3/4" high and match the ford version (except for the text :D ).

If anyone else wants one, let me know and I'll see if I can get the decal guy to make up a few for me.

Wow, response has been great! I am stuck in the frozen wasteland of michigan this week, so I wont have a chance to get to the letting man till next week.

The guy at the sign shop has the graphic. He is piggy-backing my order in with a friends of mine who is having his race car done. That way, there is no Job Number for the boss to know about (and no charge for me).

Now the 'butt':

My buddy with the race car is not ready for lettering yet. He had to miss working on the car for a few months for health reasons. When he get the body hung, he can go for the lettering.

My Buddys back is not healing too quickly, so he is sitting out this year, which means he will not be getting any lettering done. I checked with a local lettering shop and they want $15 each (!) for them.

I figured at that price, no one would be interested. If you have access to a vinyl cutter, feel free to use the images as a pattern.
