Ok, I know that there are several different IP's for these trucks. But can someone clear up for me the specifics about them? I have a '94 K2500 w/8600gvw vin F. Which pump should I have? What would happen if I put the wrong one in? Which pumps were used where, and which are best? Why? Thanks to all you guys for the help. I love this place.

The '94 Vin "F" trucks came from the factory with an odd ball pump. (5068?) Most of them have been removed from service by now. To change it out requires an updated EPROM.

All later pumps are compatible with each other. You want the latest pump.
