HOW TO FIX STEEL BRAKE LINE

I WAS INSTALLING A GOOSENECK HITCH AND SEEMED TO GET BRAKE LINE UNDER FLAT WASHER.

BRAKE LINE CRUSHED BUT BRAKES SEEM TO WORK OK.
WHATS THE BEST WAY TO MAKE A SPLICE IN LINE.

the best way to go get a piece of 6 inch or so pre made line it will be double flared on both ends then cut out the old section and double flare both ends and use 2 unions

When you are doing the above repair, loosen the clamps that hold the line so you can move things around and be ready to get covered in brake fluid.
try to rent a flair tool kit as good ones can run pretty expensive and it's the kind of tool that you might not ever use again.
