glow plug light

What does it mean when glow plug light flashes 1-2 or 3 times after starting? Just started doing this. Everything seems to be OK?

Everything is probably OK, its probably getting colder and on a very cold start you'll see an extended glow and then "afterglow" short glow plug cycles. I usually see one maybee two afterglow cycles after startup on a cold morning. If its not that cold, just one initial glow. Afterglow is to help out the engine run smoother after startup, avoids more smoking and rough running.
